The successful candidate will be educated to degree level, have native or near-native competence in German, and experience of language teaching to groups of adult non-native learners, particularly at an advanced level, preferably at a UK Higher Education Institution or equivalent. Successful candidates will teach written and oral language classes that form part of specialist undergraduate language degree programmes, developing their own teaching materials, methods, and practices. They will be involved in the assessment of students’ work, including setting and marking regular homework, as well as oral and written examinations. They will provide students with feedback, support and advice, and carry out routine administrative tasks associated with their teaching.
The full-time equivalent starting salary will be £24,273 paid pro rata (44.6% FTE).
