The enforced subject access provisions strictly only apply to employment
and contract (s56) . Would be fun if they have broken that as it is a
criminal offence.
More likely that they have not, but my initial reaction to Richard's
scenario, depending on the exact circumstances, is that I could not be
satisfied that there was true informed consent, even if I knew the
signature to be genuine.
I would require some direct contact with the data subject, away from the
truncheons.
