POSTGRADUATE RESEARCH ASSISTANT
£19,184 - £20,938 per annum
FIXED TERM CONTRACT UNTIL 31ST JULY 2013

An opportunity has arisen for you to join a vibrant teaching and
research community, assisting staff in the Department of Geography and
Development Studies (GDS) researching the potential of Web 2.0
technologies (hardware and software) to enhance the student learning
experience of fieldwork.  The post is based in GDS at the University of
Chester, but the work will involve liaison with staff at the University
of Reading and Queen’s University Belfast who are partners in this
initiative.

You will have a minimum of a first or upper second class degree in
geography, biology, a social/environmental science subject or education
studies, as well as experience of social survey research techniques, a
good standard of written English and effective oral communication
skills.
