You can find any number of service providers if you google "paternity tests UK". However your patients may want some guidance which company to go to and they could try Northgene in Newcastle since they are relatively close to York see: http://www.paternitytesting.co.uk/ Complement Genomics are also local in Sunderland but I'm not clear if they can offer sib testing which Northgene can do http://www.complementgenomics.com/ hope this helps kind regards Sarah Dr Sarah Ball FRCPath Higher Principal Clinical Scientist Department of Clinical Chemistry Birmingham Children's Hospital Steelhouse Lane Birmingham B4 6NH tel: 0121 333 9877 fax: 0121 333 9911 email: [log in to unmask] website: http://www.bch.nhs.uk/departments/clinicalchemistry/imd/laboratoryservic e.htm <http://www.bch.org.uk/departments/clinicalchemistry/imd/laboratoryservi ce.htm> From: Griffiths Paul (RQ3) BCH Sent: 27 August 2010 15:36 To: Ball Sarah (RQ3) BCH Subject: FW: Sibling genetic tests Sarah, Can you make any suggestions? Could anyone recommend a laboratory in the UK who may do this sort of testing? They are happy to pay for the tests.
