Thanks Matt, that's great to hear. We are already getting our externally hosted ecommerce site to output an xml file to drive the integration we are developing with our own site, and my plan is to simply shape that for automatic delivery to Google Merchant Centre. As you say, very modest effort, so will be good to see if we get results. I can feel a whole new wave of shop focussed 'SEO' on the product feed coming on though!

Can I just ask (on or off list), what attributes from http://www.google.com/support/merchants/bin/answer.py?hl=en_US&answer=171380 did you have in your feed, and did you find any of them had any particular impact on click throughs?

And in terms of measurement, can you do the same as for example Webmaster Tools and see numbers of impressions, clicks etc?

Regards, James
