Chris OK, thanks. As the assumption is 'there are no constraints', I'll submit bug reports as and when I discover abberant fields on which constraints exist. Can you share the field sort order for the Item display? If it doesn't for specific fields, please let us know as that would be a defect For web addresses (that you've mentioned) I'll raise a bug, likewise for pages. I hope there is, because then I won't need to write one! The information that I'm interested in concerns the application's management of bibliographic data fields in the Bookmark screen and their display (in the Full View of an Item in particular). When either editing an existing Bookmark or creating a new Bookmark from scratch, it's clear that some fields may only be added to a Bookmark once; some may be added multiple times, but only one instance of the field will display; other fields may be added multiple times, but multiple instances of the field will display. There are some enhancement requests that we'd like to submit about aspects of the Item View display (punctuation for multiple author display, for one; the fact that end page appears above start page, for another), but a documented guide to field editing and display rules is a requisite. Has Talis got such a guide; or has a customer site written one? A couple of examples of the editing behaviour it'd be good to have confirmed through documentation: * eISSN, ISSN - are repeatable fields (which makes sense) and multiple instances will display in Item view (single field, comma separated) * Web address - this is a repeatable field in an editing sense, but only the first instance will display in Item view (so there's no point adding alternate URLs to your Bookmark - no-one will see them) * Volume - this is a repeatable field, multiple instances will display (single field, comma separated) (which makes less sense, to me - I'm trying to think of instances of a serial having discontinuous parallel volume values... OK, now I've stopped.) * Pages - only one instance of this field can be added (which makes sense - although Aspire provides no user feedback along the lines 'This field is already present in the record' when attempting to add a second; it just ignores the request) I've not fully tested if this behaviour is format sensitive, or defaulted across format types (which I'm guessing that it is). I've also not tested if field management rules differ for an auto-Bookmarked item as opposed to a manually created one (but I'm guessing not). Is there a handy .pdf walkthrough of all this?
