This post is being offered as a developmental
role; either for a Faculty Librarian to start on Band 5 with the opportunity
for promotion to Band 6 [subject to achieving satisfactory levels of skills],
or for a Faculty Training Librarian with the necessary skills and experience to
start on Band 6. Salary range: £21,176 to £34,189 pa
This post presents an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive
individual to help develop library services in a Trust which encourages
innovative practice. You will be working within a multi-site team and will be
provided with opportunities for personal and professional development. Applicants
need to be independently mobile.
As a Band 6 Faculty Training Librarian you will be required to provide a
progressive, structured information skills training programme for the staff and
students at Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust and for the staff of BEN
[Birmingham East & North] PCT.
