**With apologies for cross-posting**

Applications are invited from candidates who would like to undertake a three-year funded PhD studentship within the Institute for Informatics and Digital Innovation at Edinburgh Napier University in the UK. The Institute comprises five research centres, of which the Centre for Social Informatics is one (http://www.csi.soc.napier.ac.uk/).

The Centre for Social Informatics (and the International Teledemocracy Centre which is based within the Centre) undertakes research across a range of areas including the information society, knowledge management, library and information science, project management, social computing, e-government and e-democracy.

We are particularly interested in applicants who would like to pursue research that overlaps in interest with the work of one or more of the other four research centres within the Institute.
