Sorry if I've ruffled any tweeds, they soon smooth down. Must say that
'Young British Poets' has a an air of flat contrivance: the perceptible
collapse of poetry into a language of uninventive marketing is a rather
shoddy fate for an art that once held its nose in the air: 'this is the way
the world ends/ not with a bang but a hand-out'.
