This is a reminder about the following one-day conference The Open University Statistics Group presents a one-day conference at the Open University, Milton Keynes, UK on Monday July 19th 2010: THE GEOMETRY OF DATA ANALYSIS (GOWERFEST II) The full programme as well as the registration form and other relevant information are available by following the link from the OU Statistics Group website at http://statistics.open.ac.uk This one-day conference, organised to celebrate John Gower’s 80th birthday and his recent retirement, highlights recent and on-going research made in collaboration with him or inspired by his geometric approach to data analysis. The conference will include 8 invited talks along with a special introduction by David Hand (Imperial College, London). We also invite submissions for poster presentations on relevant topics. If you wish to submit a poster for presentation, please complete the relevant section of the registration form. The cost of the conference is £30. This includes registration, coffee, lunch and tea.
