Thanks for your reply Janice. To clarify we do the same. However the paediatricians/neonatologists still would like us to assist them and provide age related reference ranges for their use 'off analyser'. So far IL have been unable or reluctant to provide any, to my knowledge. I agree the ranges may well not be straightforward. We have included panic ranges to flag grossly abnormal results. Reference ranges also mean you get a printout a mile long. Jan Mrs. J.
