Job category/type: Academic Job description: The department Media & Communication has a long, successful history in the broad fields of media studies and media practice. In 2008 it introduced a new BA Hons in Photography which has already firmly established itself at the forefront of its field. Staff and student achievement has already been recognized, winning awards nationally and internationally. The degree is defined by core concepts: sustainable reflective professionalism; engaged practice in the digital age; collaborative and globalised practices; and independence and entrepreneurship. We offer an outward facing degree and pro-actively connect with like-minded, global communities of learner-practitioners. We are seeking to appoint a Photography Teaching Assistant to work closely alongside senior staff in developing and driving our shared vision forward.
