   Salary : £32,620 to £43,840 per annum depending upon skills and experience.
(Salary can progress to £50,822 per annum, subject to performance)

This full-time post will be offered on a permanent contract

Applications are invited for the above post based in the School of Modern Languages and Cultures, Department of Cultural Studies.
Candidates should have a PhD or equivalent in an area of cultural studies, critical theory or cultural history. They should have significant experience of teaching in Higher Education, with a record of research and publications appropriate to REF 2013/14. Expertise in one or more of the following areas will be an advantage: critical theory, cultural history, material cultures, cultural policy, gender, war and conflict, memory studies, migration and diaspora community.
