Great thanks to Jingjing for this!
Dear Wang Yan,
It is a big pleasure to contact you. Thank you very much for your interest in AQA FCSE and planning to prepare your students for this!AQA FCSE is a portfolio based qualification designed to accredit language learning at National Curriculum Levels 4, 5, 6. There areno exams for FCSE. The assignments can be taken at different stages in the course when a topic has been covered, to fit in with the teachers and candudates. At the moment, the centres are using Set 1 & Set 2 assignments. You may visit the website and get all the information concerned, including the Chinese FCSE vocabulary list and grammar structures which is the plus to ELC's.

Please note that Chinese teachers will be using Sets 2 and 3 for the coming 2 academic years.
The order form for September 2010 is already available on the AQA website www.aqa.org.uk  – if you send it in now, you will receive Sets 2 & 3 assignment materials in September.

If you want Set 2 to get started on, please visit the website,  fill in the order form and send it directly to Janet Wilson Subject Manager [log in to unmask], with an explanatory letter and she will organise for Set 2 to be sent out immediately.

She will then forward the order form to the correct department in AQA so that you will receive Set 3 in September. We will provide teacher support meetings twice this autumn free of charge - Thursday 30 September in Manchester 9.45 - 3.45; Friday 15 October in London 9.45 -3.45. I am sure your school will be informed before that.  You may choose to attend. Welcome your attendance and look forward to seeing you!
I wish you do not mind my copying Janet, the Subject Manger in, because I know she will give us an excellent and a clear guidance. By the way, Janet's contact address:

Dear Janet, please see my reply above to Wang Yan, correct me if anything inappropriate and advise as you always excellently do!
I hope the information above could be the right answer to your enquiry. Should you have anything further to discuss such as the use of assignment papers, assessment criteria, etc, please feel free to contact me.
Best wishes
