James Massally is a teacher-librarian at the
Annie Walsh Memorial School in Freetown and the Sierra Leonean Coordinator of School Libraries. He is also the 2010 Anthony Thompson award winner and is visiting the
UK as part of a three week professional development visit to network with colleagues.
James will be talking about his experiences of working within school and public libraries in Sierra Leone as well as his aims, expectations and experiences of his visit to the UK. James will talk about how he intends to use the knowledge and skills he has attained, as well as the partnerships he has developed during his visit, to expand and enhance school library service provision within Sierra Leone.

ILIG Informals are not lectures; they are informal, but informative, early evening meetings with a short talk on a theme of international interest plus plenty of time for questions and networking. They are open to all and absolutely free. Light refreshments
