Please note that, as a result of a colleague leaving us, we will shortly be advertising a post in German (Lecturer A) in the Department of European Languages at Aberystwyth University. The advert should appear in the THES, on jobs.ac.uk and on http://www.aber.ac.uk/en/hr/ within the week. We wish to appoint for September 1 so the timescale will be tight, hence the early warning now. Teaching on both language and non-language courses will be required; in addition, a willingness to become involved in interdisciplinary, “pan-European” modules. Native or near-native competence in German, and evidence of research activity, promise and/or achievement, required.
