ECU and the Leadership Foundation for Higher Education have released the following invitation to tender. Please could you pass this on to anyone in your institution who may be interested in undertaking this research.
Invitation to tender: Achieving equality for disabled staff in higher education
ECU and the Leadership Foundation for Higher Education are seeking to commission research to explore the experiences of disabled staff in higher education institutions and identify practices to bring about disability equality in the sector.
The Achieving equality for disabled staff in higher education project<http://www.ecu.ac.uk/our-projects/achieving-equality-for-disabled-staff> aims to identify effective practices to improve the working environment for disabled staff and make recommendations as to how career progression for disabled staff can be improved. The project will provide national evidence of the issues facing disabled staff in the sector and clear guidance for institutions.
This is a collaborative project between ECU and the Leadership Foundation for Higher Education<http://www.lfhe.ac.uk>.
The total value of the tender will be up to £28,000 inc VAT.
