Right on schedule, the Icelandic parliament has adopted a law that
purports to offer to whistleblowers worldwide the most robust judicial
protection possible anywhere. It is for information activists on the
ground, who are directly confronted with repression, to appreciate and
judge what IMMI can do for them, but I tend to think that this is a truly
major development.
