Humanity has the economic means,
technological know-how, and global communication networks we need to tackle
large-scale global environmental problems now, argue the speakers of
Earthscan’s next earthcast.
This earthcast will present a model for
combining economic growth with reduced environmental pressures and discuss
evidence from each of the major resource intensive sectors (including
transport, building, cement, steel and agriculture) where
significant resource productivity improvements are available.
Who is it for?
This Earthcast is aimed at policy makers, researchers,
economists, engineers, business leaders, educators as well as those involved in
improving resource productivity in energy and water intensive sectors.
