My obituary of David Chaloner is in today's Guardian (rather severely edited by the Guardian staff -- I wrote almost all of those sentences but not in that order, plus quite a few more which have disappeared) (including a reference to Harry, a mongrel dog he was very fond of, but dogs are apparently not at all comme il faut in obituaries -- I put him back in twice and he was removed again twice).
