This might sound like a Friday afternoon question, but I promise there is a serious purpose. I am working on an archival event and would like to serve an authentically archival drink so I am seeking the help of the list. Would such a drink be an old recipe brought to life again? A drink best enjoyed at BS5454 temperatures? Maybe something that is parchment coloured or one that embodies the longevity of the archival record. Leather infused bourbon has already been suggested. Please turn your thoughts to this important question - it can be alcoholic or non-alcoholic by the way. Bear in mind that I am intending this to be made and served so must taste reasonably pleasant and not be poisonous. Please get back to me and let me know if it is your own concoction and other copyright or acknowledgment issues. I'm working with professionals to complexity of ingredients or mixing should not be a problem. I don't mind whether you reply on or off list but obviously of you want exclusivity reply direct to me.
