Karl Magee University Archivist University of Stirling School of History and Politics Research Assistant (Fixed Term 24 Months) £23,566-£28,983 p.a. The University of Stirling is funding a two-year post of Research Assistant to establish the Scottish Political Archive in the School of History and Politics. The archive will house a number of political collections and is focused initially on a project comparing memories of the 1979 and 1997 devolution referendums in Scotland. The successful candidate will be involved in organising archival material and digitising material related to the archive collection, in addition to undertaking organisational duties related to the work of the SPA project team. Practical experience of working with archives/digitisation is essential as is knowledge of modern Scottish history and politics. This is a full time, fixed term position for 24 months.
