Dear
Phil
In
case you are interested in the breakdown.
Currently
all party leaders have had a meeting with the Queen, and as the VVD is the
largest party they will be asked to form a government.
As
is customary, the VVD leader has asked the Queen to appoint a VVD-sympathetic
‘informateur’, ie someone who will not do the forming of the
government, but who will discuss possibilities for a coalition with the party
leaders. His briefing is first to try VVD – PVV – CDA, ie
centre – right; secondly some form of centre – left, eg VVD,
Gr/L, D66, or otherwise really purple – VVD-PvdA – but no one
really beielevs in that which is probably why it will happen in the end J
