An exciting new opportunity exists for a new statistician post in the Biomedical Research Units (BRU) in Respiratory Medicine and Nutrition hosted by Southampton University Hospitals NHS Trust (SUHT) and the University of Southampton.


Each BRU has a diverse range of research programmes developed by University and SUHT investigators, which require statistical expertise in their development and analysis. The postholder will work closely with the current BRU statistician, based within the University's School of Medicine, and liaising closely with the established medical statistics group led by Prof Janet Peacock. This group is part of the larger group of statisticians in Southampton - the Southampton Statistical Sciences Institute (S3RI).


The post is funded until March 2012.
