The ESRC Centre for Charitable Giving and Philanthropy (CGAP) will be
hosting a free 1-day conference to discuss current thinking on all
things giving and philanthropy. CGAP draws together research expertise
from Kent, Strathclyde, Edinburgh, Southampton and City universities and
the conference will draw together the different perspectives offered by
our 5 year research programme.

The programme includes sessions on giving by social entrepreneurs, what
determines who gives and how much, and how donors choose charities. We
hope to attract a mix of academics, practitioners and policy makers, so
as to situate our discussions with a policy and practice context. It
takes place on 18th June 2010, in central London.

Conference registration is free and easy: just click on
