REGIONAL LIAISON OFFICER, EDUCATION 5-19 for the INSTITUTION of ENGINEERING and TECHNOLOGY (the IET)

The job is a liaison and advisory role with a degree of administrative and project management responsibilities, particularly for the management and accountability for budget of specific projects within the Education 5-19 remit. The main responsibility will be to liaise with, and develop a strong working relationship with the IET’s Local Networks (LN), particularly through the LN’s Schools Liaison Officers; to encourage and resource them to engage with schools and colleges within their regions; drive awareness of and participation in schemes for schools run by the IET and its delivery partners and, to manage and annual funding scheme for educational projects endorsed by the LNs.

 

It is full time (35 hours per week) and based in the IET’s Stevenage headquarters. The job will involve travel, particularly within the UK.
