Hi Sharon,
I don’t have a hard and fast rule on
this but I explain to the person concerned that if there has been a significant
gap between the vaccinations and the test the likelihood is the level will have
dropped to an unacceptable level and they will need a booster and then another
test. I then give them the choice of having a booster prior to the test
and testing 2-3 months later. I would normally only do this if the gap is
years rather than months as I frequently find the titre is good as much as two
years after the vaccine.
Regards
Yvonne
