Hi Santanu, Interestingly we see this with many DPMs
There are current issues with the information provider/ srm outputs.
One issue seems to be inconsistent changes between Bytes and BiBytes
Your ldap entry ( selectively cut has these values)

Lcg-stmd commad returns
 lcg-stmd -e serv02.hep.phy.cam.ac.uk -s ATLASDATADISK

Now 43980465111040 = 40 * (1024^4)
It appears that the bug relating to uipadte space is the that if you
specify 40T you get 40*((1024)^4), whereas if you specify 40000000000000
in the comand you get 40*(10^12)

Hi Brian, Graeme,

Just a question, out of curiosity: why the space reservation is getting
bigger than the space specified with --gspace, using dpm-updatespace?
e.g. if I use this command to allocate 40T to ATLASDATADISK:

    dpm-updatespace --space_token 3b3d858a-47f9-4542-adc2-1700efa7c779
--gspace 40T

It's becoming 43.98T afterwards I query the space token.

    ATLASDATADISK	ID=3b3d858a-47f9-4542-adc2-1700efa7c779
        CAPACITY: 43.98T RESERVED: 43.98T UNAVAIL (free): 0

Do you know any thing about it? If I use 37T the it becomes ~40T - which
one id fake?

Cheers,
Santanu
