Dear All, the Margaret Mead Film Festival has extended our deadline! Submit your films today and be a part of the 34th annual fest. Housed in the American Museum of Natural History, the Mead is the longest running documentary film festival in the United States. The Festival screens a range of non-narrative work including the best in international documentaries, experimental films, multi-media performances, animation, and more. While the Festival began as a solely ethnographic film festival the Mead has grown to encompass the vast array of storytelling practices that reflect the many visions of non-narrative storytelling.
