Dear All, the Margaret Mead Film Festival has extended our deadline! Submit
your films today and be a part of the 34th annual fest. Housed in the
American Museum of Natural History, the Mead is the longest running
documentary film festival in the United States. The Festival screens a range
of non-narrative work including the best in international documentaries,
experimental films, multi-media performances, animation, and more. While the
Festival began as a solely ethnographic film festival the Mead has grown to
encompass the vast array of storytelling practices that reflect the many
visions of non-narrative storytelling.
