What is 'usemyability' (UMA)?
The UMA web resource will feature as the main product of a National Teaching Fellowship Scheme project led University of Worcester in partnership with University of Plymouth and University of Gloucestershire. The resource (that will be located at www.usemyability.org later this year) will provide support to academic and Careers Service staff, employers and to disabled students themselves in relation to their development of their employability skills and attributes. The following are examples of the skills employers are looking for in graduates:
Drive/initiative
Flexibility
Literacy
Numeracy
Oral communication
Problem solving
Self organisation
Teamwork
Time management
Written communication
