Dear Joel,

I wouldn't expect there to be any difficulties with what you propose.

Kind regards,

PG

I'd be grateful for any advice about how to proceed re recommeding how to approach securing appropriate DSA medical evidence for one of my students. She has chronic brittle antiphosphilid syndrome-lupus with associated neurological impairment, specifically some aquired issues consistent with an SpLD / dysphasia.

She faces barriers to learning in relational to cognitive issues, particularly memory, dealing with expressive / receptive language, and also some physical disabilities. She feels, not unreasonably, that she has been "assessed to death" since her condition manifested as a child, and still sees a range of specialists. She has provided a fairly old Clinical Neuropsychologist's Report which indicates findings are highly indicative of dyslexia / impaired function associated with dysphasia, with speed of comprehension (receptive language) impaired, difficulty processing verbal information, and problems with writing including both sentence construction and appropriate punctuation skills. The report concludes that these language difficulties are the result of impaired function associated with dysphasia. It would be helpful if this student did not have to undertake further assessments which she finds intrusive & stressful - might an up to date letter outlining the issues above from one of her several, very supportive consultants, suffice for DSA evidence purposes?

	Many thanks.

	Regards, Joel
