Hello everyone,

I am experiencing problems with the prediction of amino acid types; it
seems to work only randomly. I attached a screen shot of the assignment
window and the peaks of the respective spin system. Although alphas and
betas are assigned correctly I do not get any kind of prediction (see
bottom right in assignment panel; fig. assign_main.tiff). This holds for
quite a lot but not for all spin systems; unfortunately, I can't make
out an underlying pattern. In the example, the spin system should be
easily identified as a threonine (fig. spin244_res.tiff). Choosing
"Predict Type" from the "Resonance->Spin System" panel does not work either.

Could this be a software issue?

I am running ccpn analysis version 2.1.3 (downloaded 05/14/10) on OSX
10.6.3 (of course intel version).

Thanks.

Regards,
Marcel
