Scientific Programmer Position The Nucleic Acid Data Project at Rutgers The State University of New Jersey is seeking candidates for a scientific programmer position to support development of new tools and database services for RNA structure analysis. The position requires: Minimum of Bachelor's degree, higher degree preferred, in Computational Biology or related discipline; some further experience in bioinformatics, structural-biology, biology, and/or chemistry; proficiency in programming languages C++,and Python. Demonstrated experience with the following is highly desirable: design and development of large software application systems; web user interface development using Java, web service development using SOAP and REST; database application development using JDBC and MySQL.
