There are still a few places available on the following training event.

Applying for 'Heritage Grants' event

This training day will take place on Wednesday 7 July 2010 at the Birmingham City Library from 10.00 to 4.30pm.
The workshop is designed for those aiming to apply to the Heritage Lottery Fund's 'Heritage Grants' programme. This scheme is for grants over £50,000.
Course Objectives are:
To give participants a detailed understanding of the criteria and two stage application process for the 'Heritage Grants' programme
To give participants confidence to complete the application form and activity plan
To give participants the opportunity to discuss projects proposals and being to shape their applications

This event is open to anyone working in archives or with archive materials in the UK, but participants will benefit most from the day if they have a specific project proposal in mind. The day will be facilitated by Louise Ray, Funding and Development Advice Manager, Archive Sector Development, The National Archives and with input from the Heritage Lottery Fund and a case study archive project.

Places are free but limited and will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis.
