Senior Business Analyst - Monash e-Research Centre The Opportunity

The Monash e-Research Centre (MeRC) is a University-funded centre devoted to supporting and nurturing the use of e-Research. It captures and combines the benefits of Monash's expertise in e-Research and its existing technical infrastructure to develop Monash University as a leading international institution for e-Research. It functions as a delivery vehicle for expertise and services drawn from the Faculty of Information Technology, Information Technology Services Division and the University Library. Monash University has been awarded a grant by the Australian Federal Government, through the Australian National Data Service (ANDS) to develop software infrastructure which will assist Monash researchers with research data capture, management, and re-use.

An exciting opportunity exists for an outstanding senior business analyst with high-level skills and experience in working in a team to acquire, analyse, verify, document and test business requirements.

The e-Research Senior Business Analyst is an integral role to the Monash e-Research Centre and is responsible for liaising with business owners and managing their expectations, communicating the requirements to the software development team, developing and delivering training and assisting in the communication of project outcomes with stakeholders from Monash, ANDS, and other Australian institutions.

The Benefits

Remuneration package: $79,600 - $87,865 pa HEW Level 8 (includes employer superannuation of 9%)

This role is a full-time position, however flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
