Vacancy: Careers from Science Manager 

Salary range: £26,000 - £28,000 p.a.

 

The Science Council is seeking an enthusiastic communicator to manage its leading project, "Careers from Science".  The CfS project aims to encourage more young people to understand the value of studying science and maths in school and the opportunities that are available from STEM qualifications (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).  The project comprises the Future Morph website (www.futuremorph.org <http://www.futuremorph.org/> ) which is aimed primarily at 11 to 19 year-olds, with additional sections for parents, teachers and career advisers, together with other on-line and off-line activities including the development of good practice in the provision of careers information.

This exciting new role will suit an individual familiar with STEM subjects and their promotion by way of website, project management and strong, effective communication.
