We’re going that way too – any advice on a good system would be gratefully received. We too struggle with cohort but we accept that we don’t use it to its potential. We have a training day soon to explore what it can do for us.

Any of you using cohort – can it wok like the GP system where the person reports to reception, receptionist enters the person has arrived and the system immediately flags it up to the clinician?

Thanks

Judith

Our Experience with Cohort is not good. Our attempt to go paper lite has resulted in duplication of multiple tasks and a general distrust of the system. However… I’m not sure that the system is entirely to blame. From previous experience we have had paperless systems, the director just decided that this is what we were going to do and had to drive to just change it. He had the enthusiasm and determination to drive it through, there was no option to do anything different.

We are currently looking at implementing a Occ Health software system as an aim to go paperless.

I would be really grateful for any opinions about any of the three following systems;

Cohort
Orchid and
Opas
