Hi Jane,

We have a happy mix of both. When our Trust introduced a new uniform
policy associated with infection control campaign - we were provided
with nurse specialist uniforms for when we are working in a clinical
capacity ie taking blood and administering vaccinations, or if we go
into clinical areas to see staff there such as during the flu
campaigns. This has been very well received by both the OH staff and the
people we see who feel this is more appropriate and professional for
these tasks - however when seeing management referrals and other non
clinical duties we continue to wear normal clothes which seems a good
balance.

Christine

Could I have your professional opinion on whether OHA's should wear
uniform, pros and cons.
Thanks Jane
