SWM – South West Wales Museums. Joint Learning Co-ordinator

A partnership of the local authority museums in Swansea, Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion is seeking to appoint a consultant to help all the museums of south-west Wales to improve their service to schools (especially Key stage 2)

 

The consultant will need to demonstrate relevant qualifications and experience of education work in museums.

 

A total of £40,000 (funded by a grant from the Welsh Assembly Government) is available for the period 1^st June 2010 to 31^st January 2011.

 

The consultant will be expected to work at least 120 days during the term of the contract; to travel to museums and schools in the whole of south-west Wales and work from their own office. The ability to communicate in both Welsh and English will be desirable.
