Career Development Group North Eastern Division Visit to the Royal Victoria Infirmary Library and the Walton Library(Newcastle University) Tuesday 4th May 2010 from 2.00 p.m onwards Ever wondered what goes on in medical libraries? Find out with this afternoon visit to the libraries within the RVI Hospital and the Walton library based within the Medical School at Newcastle University. Jo Mullen who is the Assistant Trust Librarian at the RVI and Erika Gavillet who is the Medical Librarian at the Walton Library will introduce their collections; how they support medical staff and students and answer any questions you have! Tour will start at the RVI at 2p.m. and last around half an hour before moving to the Walton Library which is only 10- 15 minutes walk away. Cost: Free Both libraries are accessible to wheelchairs.
