Dear all

My colleague is trying to find objects that can be buried in a fake archaeological dig in the groups of our museum to be used for school sessions  (like Dig in York has, if anyone knows of that).  The objects need to be durable enough to be buried in the ground and dug up time and again by children, and which obviously won't rot or become unsafe to handle.  Ideally looking for good quality plastic objects of the following types:

- skeleton bones
- Tudor pottery
-Roman mosaic tiles or other objects found in a Roman villa
- Worked flint or stone tools
- Anglo Saxon objects such as jewellery

If anyone can recommend any suppliers that might be able to help that would be great.  Please contact [log in to unmask]

Thanks all!

Karen
