Associate in Geography - Cultural & Historical (Fixed-term)
Applications
are invited for the above post in the School of Geography which will be a
replacement for a Leverhulme Prize holder. The primary role of the post
will be to support the School’s teaching programme in Cultural and
Historical Geography. The ability to contribute to a third year module
‘The Geographies of Violence’ will be a particular advantage. The
successful candidate, in addition to contributing to the teaching outlined
above, will also act as a Personal Tutor and undertake a range of
administrative duties to support the operation of the School.
Candidates
should have recently completed their PhD and be active in an area of research
relevant to the School’s interests and in line with its overall research
strategy.
Salary
will be within the range £27,319 - £28,139 per annum, depending on
qualifications and experience. This post is available from 6 September 2010 and
will be offered on a fixed-term contract for a period of 18 months.
