Dear Philipp: Please correct me if I am wrong: "modulation" means that the intensity of the signal is transformed as some what more like "volume" in a certain area, thus increasing the accuracy of the VBM test. Then I think I should stick to use the modulation with my images. I understand that during the Normalize step, specifying preservation may switch on and off the modulation, thanks! Thank you again.
