A few places are available for the following free workshop on Tuesday
23rd March.

 

The London Museums Hub Information and Records Management Project is
pleased to offer a series of workshops on different aspects of
information management. The workshops are designed to take participants
through the stages involved in implementing information polices, and are
based on the Information Management Toolkit released in January 2010
(see: http://www.collectionslink.org.uk/Manage_Info) 

The training is free to museum staff (paid and unpaid) working in
London.

 

Improving Information Management: Developing an Information Policy

An information policy will provide you with a framework for making
decisions about the way in which your museum creates, uses, provides
access to, manages and preserves its information resources. This one day
practical workshop outlines how to develop a policy using the London
Museums Hub information policy framework.
