Corrected posting is as follows: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Foreign (Non-Korean Nationality) Faculty Position in the Department of Chemistry at Seoul National University Department of Chemistry, Seoul National University, Korea (SNU) seeks applications for both tenure-track and non-tenure track, open rank, faculty positions in all areas of chemistry. SNU invites international scholars of non-Korean nationality with outstanding research and teaching credentials who will play an integral role in the development, growth, and diversity of their respective programs. Each candidate is expected to give lectures in English. High proficiency in oral and written English is essential. Further required qualifications include: • Ph.D. degree in chemistry or related areas • one or more years of postdoctoral, academic, or industrial experiences • publications commensurate to rank • commitment to establishment of a productive research program (particularly emphasized in the tenure-track position) • commitment to excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels (particularly emphasized in the non-tenure track position) We especially welcome applications from chemists interested in developing collaborations through participation in any of several interdisciplinary initiatives on campus.
