Three vacancies for research associates are available at University of Leicester.

Applications are invited from enthusiastic, talented social scientists to join the Social Science Research Group, Department of Health Sciences, University of Leicester. We are looking for people to provide high level social science research skills and a high impact, high quality contribution. Two posts will be available to conduct research on cultural and behavioural change in the NHS (until end March 2012). One post (24 months) will be available to support research in relation to implementation of research evidence in the Leicestershire Northamptonshire and Rutland NIHR CLAHRC (Collaborations for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care), as well as a range of other projects. These are exciting opportunities to join a thriving research team and to contribute to high quality, high impact outputs.

Candidates should hold, or be nearing completion of, a PhD in a relevant discipline, or have equivalent experience in social science research. They must have training in and experience of using qualitative research methods, ideally in health settings. 

Two posts will be available until end March 2012 in the first instance; the other post will be available for 24 months from date of appointment.
