medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture

The linen cloth popularly known as the Shroud of Turin (that it was ever used as a shroud is, of course, less than universally accepted, so calling it one is to take sides in one of the controversies surrounding this object) will go on display for six weeks following this coming Easter:
