Hi there So, possibly if the ebook was a retail purchase from an ebook seller this could be allowed? Downloadable ebook subscriptions would be a whole different kettle of fish so to speak? For example, with the Luton Libraries system, if you download an eBook onto an ereader, the book will expire and is no longer available after x number of days. Ebooks which libraries lend have their own DRM which prevents the files being used beyond the loan period or copies being made. I would suspect that a retail (paid for) ebook could be copied, perhaps as part of synchronising the ebook reader with the relevant software on a PC. If the file isn't protected in some way, I'm not sure it would be acceptable. Just my thoughts however - I could be wrong!
