Content Online and IEEE will be sponsoring 7 in depth training  
sessions in April 2010. The events coincide with the launch of the new  
IEEE Xplore website.

Information Professionals, both academic and commercial are invited to  
attend this session to learn time-saving search techniques for finding  
technology content using IEEE Xplore, the online delivery platform for  
IEEE products. During this live demonstration, presented by IEEE  
Client Services Manager George Plosker, participants will learn :

   -Advanced search features such as field searching, wildcards and  
proximity searching
   -Search by author affiliation or country
   -Browsing for specific journals, conference papers or IEEE Standards
   -Creating email and RSS alerts
   -Understanding the Abstract Record
   -Alternatives to Google and GoogleScholar such as CrossRef Google  
and scitopia.org
   -New features that are planned for 2010 and beyond
