engage’s Professional Development Seminars are for museum,

education. Teachers or freelance staff working in gallery education have also
found these seminars useful.
The seminars provide a forum to:
• Expand core skills and knowledge
• Explore and develop methodology
• Discuss and share practice with peers
• Review recent policy developments
• Build national and regional knowledge, contacts and networks
The Professional Development Seminars run from 10.45am – 4pm and include
lunch. Each seminar includes two or more specialist presentations, case
studies, subject specific briefings, opportunities for participation, lunch and
networking. Each seminar is supported by a printed toolkit which reinforces and
expands the session theme.
